Abbey's 11th annual Wand Shoot drew archers from all over the country on 10th November. 30 longbows and 44 recurve/barebows took part. The target is a 6 ft high wand, 6" wide for those shooting 140yds, 5" wide for 120yds. Fiendishly difficult. Join us next year.
I didn't know the wands are different widths for different distances. You learn something new everyday.
